Meet John Fama DMD

General and Cosmetic Dentist in Lakeville, NY

Dr. John Fama DMD is a second-generation dentist inspired by his dad, Dr. John L. Fama Sr. His parents lived above the dental office in Rochester, NY when John was born. As a young boy, he watched how his dad interacted with his patients. He saw the friendships that developed and his dad’s compassion for others, so he knew at a young age he wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a dentist.

Thirty-two years later, Dr. John Fama continues to maintain his own dental practice with the same compassion and mentality shown by his dad. Dr. John views his patients as good friends, sharing recipes, travel ideas, gardening tips, flowers and produce.

Dr. John Fama’s passion for helping others migrates outside his dental practice, where he serves on the board of the Western New York Comprehensive Center for Eating Disorders and the Conesus Town Board.

Dr. John has three adult sons and one grandson. Whenever possible, he spends time with them on Conesus Lake ice skating, paddle boarding or boating.
